 Celery : Celery
is rich in insoluble fiber which is vital to colon health and
helps prevent heart disease. Celery has vitamin C, folate,
potassium, molybdenum, manganese, B6, calcium, B1, magnesium,
vitamin A, tryptophan, phosphorus, B2 and iron. Celery contains
phalides which may help lower cholesterol and coumarins that may
help in cancer prevention. Pthalides compounds in celery relax
the muscles of the arteries that regulate blood pressure,
allowing these arteries to dilate. They also reduce stress
hormones, which cause the vessels to constrict.
