speaking, bell peppers are a powerhouse of nutritional benefits.
Highest on the list is Vitamin C and beta carotene. These two
powerful antioxidants are in vast quantities in bell peppers.
They neutralize free radicals that are associated with the build
up of LDL cholesterol in the arteries causing heart disease.
These two antioxidants are important players in maintaining
healthy eyesight among other things like helping maintain
healthy lungs. Also present in bell peppers are vitamin K, B6,
dietary fiber, molybdenum, manganese, folate, potassium, B1,
vitamin E, the amino acid tryptophan and copper. Let’s not
forget the wonderful antioxidant compound Lycopene. Lycopene has
been universally correlated with the prevention of prostate
